Stuff the ball obtained without exaggerating, it must not be too full because soon we will divide it into wedges and if it is too full in addition to becoming ugly it makes us work twice as hard.

Rnd23 – Decrease 1 in every st (6), close with an Slst and cut the long thread.

Stem:

Rnd1 – 6 sc in the (6)

Rnd2 – 1 sc in every st(6)

Rnd3 – Work around (6)

Rnd4 – Work around (6), close with an Slst and cut the long thread

Before sewing the stalk to the pumpkin, divide our ball into wedges to make it become a pumpkin.

We thread the wool needle into the leftover tail and simply pass the needle from one side of the central hole to the other, from top to bottom. It's harder to explain than to do...

See the photo below

Do you see that I pass the needle from the bottom to the top passing through the center of the ball? As a result, the thread rests on the side of the pumpkin, if you pull well form the wedge. Repeat the operation until you have 6 or 8 wedges and the final result will be this:

I divided this into 8 wedges, you have to pull the thread well in order to crush the ball. The trick? As I told you before, you must not stuff too much or you will have problems at this stage.

Finally, just sew the stalk on the tip of the pumpkin and... Voila! That's it!

Now you just have to prepare some and invade the house with the colors of autumn!

Good job to all!
